Pastor Michael was raised in an Adventist home in the Pacific Northwest. God put a call on his heart while he was in High School which led him to Walla Walla University and later Andrews University and then to Peru for a year as a student missionary. That year extended into around 5 years, after finishing his studies at Andrews, as God lined up all the pieces for him to meet his wife, Blanca, there. In Peru, Michael went from being an English teacher to teaching general studies Bible classes and also getting involved in academic research and translation. Back in the United States, Michael served as a pastor in the Oregon Conference before coming to Washington. Now Michael is passionate about helping everyone see how much God loves us so that, someday soon, when Jesus comes, we will all be excited to see Him.
